Kick-off Meeting

Urban Science kicked off with our first partner meeting hosted by UNEP/GRID-Warsaw Centre. Despite the cold weather all the partners came together to explore the theme of science in urban areas, and how we can motivate and engage students through science in urban areas.

Initial planning to review good practice and identify the success factors for Urban Science was completed, and time was also spent exploring our ambitions for the project.

The partner are currently working with pilot schools and education experts to conduct a state-of-the-art review on how urban science is delivered. A report will be published later in the spring.
